The Annual Admission Notice has been prepared by the board of Adamstown Community College in respect of the admission of students to the school for the school year 2022/2023. This notice was published on 20/09/2021.

Thank you for the many queries about the Admissions process to 1st year 2022 in Adamstown Community College. Our application form for 1st year 2022 will be made available online from 1st October. Parents/guardians will have a 3 week window to apply. Normally we hold an in person Open Night in school however due to current restrictions this cannot take place. You can access information to help potential students and parents/guardians discover more about our school and choice of subjects for 1st years below, and a virtual tour of the Adamstown Community College campus.

Should a parent / guardian wish to appeal a decision on enrolment, they are required to complete a "BOM form 1". To view this form, please click HERE.

Student Transfers:
Students seeking to transfer into a year group other than 1st year need to contact the school for an application form at


An appeal may be made to the Department of Education and Skills in respect of a decision by the Board of Management of Adamstown Community College, as defined in the Education Act 1998, or by a person acting on behalf of the board of management, to:

a) permanently exclude a pupil

b) suspend a pupil for a school for a period which would bring the cumulative period of
suspension to 20 school days in any one school year

c) refuse to enrol a child
